Velta Russell

Velta Janelle Russell, 88, of Fort Smith passed away July 19, 2016. She was born Sept. 26, 1927, in Wetumka, Okla., to the late Lindsey and Sallie Crabtree. She was a member of Evangel Temple Church for 15 years and a member of the Disabled Veterans Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Paul Russell; three brothers, Delton, Dempsey and John B. Crabtree; and one nephew, Reese Crabtree.
