Sarah Birdwell

SEARCY — Sarah Ann Birdwell, 65, of Searcy died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, in Searcy. She was Born Jan. 22, 1951, in Searcy. She taught junior high physical science, gifted and talented classes and at Van Buren/Butterfield junior highs. She sponsored the National Junior Honor Society and established and coached the first junior high quiz bowl team in Van Buren. She was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church and Arkansas Retired Teachers Association.
