Sammie Battles

Sammie Jewel Battles, 87, of Mulberry died Sunday, June 25, 2016, in Ozark. She was a homemaker and seamstress and was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Alma. She was born Feb. 5, 1929, in the Cravens community, Franklin County, to Milton and Hattie Wilburn Huggins. Sammie was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Henry Jr.; three sons, David, Kenny and Jackie Dale Battles; and a grandson Jay Tyler Battles.
