Roy Pledger

The Rev. Roy Lee Pledger was born in Altus on Sept. 15, 1933. He graduated to heaven Feb. 15, 2016. Roy was saved in a tent revival with J. Harold Smith in Clarksville in 1952. Roy pastored churches in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas for a period of 57 years. He was a consistent soul-winner and is responsible for winning thousands of souls to the lord Jesus, including many of his own family. He was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church.
