Rosita Balagtas

Rosita "Rose" Rolloda Balagtas of Barling went to be with the lord Sunday, May 15, 2016, at the age of 91, in her home. She was born Aug. 30, 1924, in Rizal, Philippines. Her parents were Eduardo and Rolloda Balagtas. She grew up in a loving family with one brother and four sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Juanito Balagtas. Together, they had nine children, two of whom died at a young age. In 1980, Rose moved to Arkansas and worked tirelessly to send money back home
