Rosa Johnson

Rosa Marie Johnson, or better known as Rosie, was born Rosa Brown on Aug. 31, 1924, in Fort Smith. She was born to Jeff and Minerva Brown. She grew up the middle child of three children that included older brother, Tom, and younger sister, Elizabeth. Rosa graduated from Lincoln High School in Fort Smith in 1942. Rosa then went on to work as a certified nursing assistant dedicating 23 years of service at St. Edwards Mercy Medical Center in the Pediatric Unit, where she eventually retired. Rosa ac
