Richard Martin

Richard Parks Martin, 86, of Russellville died Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Atkins Nursing and Rehab. The son of Robert and Alice Shibley Martin, he was born May 31, 1929, in Fort Smith. He was a 1947 graduate of Fort Smith High School and worked as a machinist at Dixie Cup in Fort Smith for 39 years. He and Dorothy Redding were married July 23, 1949, in Fort Smith. Parks was a member of First Assembly of God in Russellville, where he was active in the Always Young Group and was a member of Calva
