Peggy Spears

Peggy Irene Madden Spears, 83, was called home by her lord and savior Jesus Christ on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, in a local hospital. She was born June 4, 1932, in Fort Smith to William L. and Lonabelle (Stroud) Madden. Peggy worked and retired from Arkansas Oklahoma Gas Corp. in 1987. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church since 1962 to present, a parish religious education teacher for more than 20 years, and the parish religious education director for 13 years.
