Marian Nord

Marian Shaw Nord of Hanover, N.H., died Sunday, June 19, 2016, at her home in Hanover, N.H. She was born in Fort Smith on Nov. 26, 1924, the daughter of Frank and Vera (Parham) Shaw. After high school, she began nurse's training at Washington University in St. Louis, simultaneously enrolling in the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corp. She graduated in 1946, and was married in July of that year to Bruce Nord, who had just completed five years' service in the U.S. Navy.
