Margaret Ahne

Margaret Ahne, 95, a resident of Scranton, passed away Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, in Scranton. She was born Dec. 10, 1920, in Jefferson, Texas, to the late Benjamin Carl Schmidt Smith and Lena Henrietta (Kaufman) Schmidt. Margaret married Frank Leonard Ahne Sr. on July 24, 1940, in Scranton. Primarily a homemaker, she later worked as a teller for Logan County Bank and delivered newspapers for the Southwest Times Record. Margaret was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and St. Elizabeth Mother
