Lonnie Brannon

It is with great sadness that we note the passing of Lonnie Dale Brannon, the son of the late Ammon and Jewel Dean Brannon of Fanshawe, Okla. He was born in Fanshawe on Dec. 28, 1946, and ended his journey May 11, 2016, in the Talihina Veterans Center. Lonnie was in Vietnam when his company was overrun by the North Vietnamese on March 22, 1968, he was critically wounded. He was awarded the Army Commendation medal with "V" for Valor.
