Lois Bassham

Lois Frances Bassham, (Granny B to her grandkids), 101, of Mountainburg passed away Monday, June 27, 2016, in a local nursing home. She was a retired teacher, a member, elder and deacon of Mountainburg Presbyterian Church, past matron of Chapter 194 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of National Teachers Association and Arkansas Retired Teachers. She was born July 7, 1915, in New Castle, Texas, to the late Ada Hardin Brogdon and Noble James Brogdon. She was also preceded in death by her husb
