Ken Hammond

Kenneth Leslie Hammond II, 67, of Poteau passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, in Tulsa. Ken was born Sept. 2, 1948, in Purcell, Okla. He lived in Baton Rouge, La., through sixth grade before moving to Oklahoma City, graduating in 1966 from John Marshall high school. Ken enjoyed playing on a baseball scholarship for the University of Oklahoma and was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Ken earned a doctorate of dental surgery degree at Baylor University
