Kathryn Howard

Kathryn H. Howard, 98, of Fort Smith passed away Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016. She was born Aug. 21, 1917, in Oktaha, Okla., to the late William and Helen Stackable. She was retired from the Social Security Administration and was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church. She was past president of the League of Women Voters and active in NARF. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, L. King Howard; a son, Bill Howard; a sister, Ruth McCalmont; and a brother, Jim Sta
