Joseph Kunkel

Joseph Earl Kunkel, 79, of Bentonville died Thursday, March 24, 2016, in Bentonville. He was born Jan. 16, 1937, in Newport, the son of Karl Frederick Kunkel and Ida Elnora Johnson Kunkel. Kunkel attended the University of Arkansas and earned his bachelor of science degree in civil engineering in 1959. He was president of Kunco Inc. and General Building Corp. His entire career since college was devoted to construction. After retirement, he was a volunteer at Mercy Hospital. He was an Eagle Scout
