John Woods

John Powell Woods Jr., at the age of 94, longtime resident of Siloam Springs, passed during the early morning hours Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at the Siloam Springs Nursing & Rehab Center. Mr. Powell Woods was born Jan. 19, 1922, in Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, John Powell Woods Sr. and Mable Fairfax Hon Woods; and two brothers, Gaines William Woods Sr. and (retired Col.) Pendleton Woods. Powell was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served 25½ months
