John Samples

John Doyle Samples, 84, of Maricopa, Ariz., passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016, in a hospital. He was retired from Arkhola Sand and Gravel Co. in Fort Smith and was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War and a member of the Church of God Seventh Day in Mesa, Ariz. He was a resident of Crawford County for more than 79 years. He was preceded in death by both his parents, James Ezekiel and Viva (Osgood) Samples; three brothers; and one sister.
