James Young

James Ray Young, 69, of Fort Smith succumbed to his seven-year battle with colon cancer Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Spiro on Dec. 22, 1946, son of the late Thelma (Gossett) Young and Ervin Young. James spent the majority of his life doing what he loved, buying, and selling cars. His career started early driving cars for his dad at the age of 13. In his later years, James owned/operated Young Auto Sales in Spiro. He had many joys in his life, including bird h
