James Metcalf

James Leslie “Mudcat” Metcalf passed away the morning of Jan. 18, 2016, surrounded by his family at his home in Greenwood. Jim was born in Wurzburg, Germany, on Aug. 29, 1956. A graduate of the University of Arkansas-Monticello (’80) and a former employee of Travis Lumber Co., where he worked as a procurement forester, Mudcat loved the woods, his work, his family and his friends.
