Houston Conwill, Whose Sculptures Celebrated Black Culture, Dies at 69

Among Mr. Conwill’s best-known works are a memorial for the poet Langston Hughes in Harlem and one for the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in San Francisco.
