Harold Peacher

Harold C. Peacher was born in Springfield, Mo., on March 14, 1919, to Claude and Urith Peacher. He passed away Dec. 29, 2015, in Fort Smith. He graduated from Greenwood High School, where he excelled in several sports. He lettered four years in football and track and three years in basketball and still holds many records. He attended the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn., on a football scholarship, where his fraternity was Phi Gamma Delta. Harold was a veteran of World War II in the Army
