Gwendolyn Kerby

Gwendolyn Kerby of Van Buren passed away Friday, May 13, 2016, at the age of 93. She was born April 6, 1923, in Van Buren to the late W.L. and Frances Bodine. While living in Michigan, she met and married Nathan Kerby, who just happened to be working for her carpenter father. They were married for 71 years when Nathan passed away. She will be remembered for her gift of hospitality, always ready to fix a meal. Thanksgiving was the highlight of the year. She was an avid gardener, seamstress and ar
