Fred Ready

Fred Ready, 93, of Greenwood, formerly of Fort Smith, died Feb. 5, 2016, in Greenwood. He was born Sept. 25, 1922, in Hamburg to Robert Allen and Iva Hines Ready. He was a retired employee of Gordon Truck Lines and following retirement, worked for the Arkansas Highway Department and the Greenwood Public School System. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II, and was a member of Spradling Baptist Church.
