Fern Overacre

Fern M. Overacre, 88, a longtime Fairland, Okla.-area resident, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016, in Fort Smith. Mrs. Overacre was born Feb. 10, 1928, in Afton, Okla., to John and Mabel (Pyatt) Oakley. She and her husband, Keith Overacre, were members of First Baptist Church in Fairland. Fern was very active. She taught Sunday school and was very involved with vacation Bible school along with serving on several committees. She loved to sew and crochet, although she also enjoyed the outdoors gard
