Eugene Lay

Eugene “Jimmy” Lay, 93, of Kankakee, Ill., formerly of Fort Smith, passed away Jan. 29, 2016, in his home. He was born July 11, 1922, to Jake and Nora (Allen) Lay in Hartford. He was a retired inspector for Roper Stove and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Billie Bateman Lay.
