CLARKSVILLE — Duane Steele, 88, of Clarksville died Monday, May 9, 2016, in Fort Smith. He was born May 28, 1927, in Hartman. He was Clarksville chief of police, a firefighter, former Johnson County judge, an Army veteran and a member of Johnson County Farmer's Association, Johnson County Cattleman's Association, Johnson County Farm Bureau Board, Johnson County Fair Board and Clarksville Church of Christ.
