Doris was born Dec. 7, 1935, in Clarkston, to Clarence and Mildred (Gifford) Hill. She was a lifetime resident of Clarkston, graduating from high school in Clarkston in 1953. She loved sports and especially excelled at tennis, bowling and swimming.
