Dean VanRipper

Dean VanRiper, 71, of Fort Smith passed from this life Feb. 1, 2016, in Fort Smith. He was born Feb. 18, 1944, in Genoa. Dean was a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a degree in education administration. He was a teacher in the Clarksville School District and was principal on the elementary and high school levels. He also worked in the public relations department at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville. Following his career in education, Dean worked and retired from Baldor Elect
