Clara Alverson

Clara Alverson, 87, of Greenwood passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, in a local hospital. She was born April 22, 1928, in Mulberry to Auten and Atha (Walker) Chitwood. She retired from Southside High School after 32 years of teaching. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Greenwood and the South Sebastian County Retired Teachers Association and was a member of Kappa Kappa Iota.
