Aldon Vernon

Aldon Vernon, 86, of Ozark died Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Peachtree Hospice at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith. He was born in the White Oak Community of Franklin County on Dec. 23, 1929, to Harley Nathaniel and Hallie King Vernon. Aldon was retired from Arkansas Western Gas Co. as town plant manager for the Paris area. He previously worked in Ozark and Yellville. He served as a city council member in Yellville and in Paris.
