SoundCloud Names Michael Weissman to Succeed Kerry Trainor as CEO

SoundCloud has announced a major change at the top, with company president Michael Weissman succeeding Kerry Trainor as CEO beginning Jan. 1. Trainor will retain a seat on the board of directors.
Weissman and Trainor joined SoundCloud as a duo in August 2017 after several years working together at Vimeo, where they were COO and CEO, respectively.
