Sam Smith's double Grammy-winning worldwide hit Stay With Me has been bizarrely targeted by obscure songwriter Mark Halper, who claims he wrote the key words nearly 30 years earlier. The basis of lawsuit directed by Halper at several record companies is that his 1986 demo version of the song Don't Throw Our Love Away began with with the "phraseology and significant phrase, 'stay with me.'
