Pharrell Lawyer In $1bn Warning Shot At YouTube

A lawyer for a firm that manages the performance rights of 20,000 songs by musicians including Pharrell Williams, The Eagles and John Lennon is reportedly threatening YouTube with a $1bn lawsuit. Global Music Rights wants Google-owned YouTube to take down the tracks from its website as it alleges it no longer has the rights to the catalogue.
