On the Charts: Travis Scott Earns First Number One With 'Birds'

Travis Scott scored his first Number One album on the Billboard 200 as the rapper's Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight sold 88,000 total copies in its debut week to claim the top spot. The rapper's previous LP, 2015's Rodeo, peaked at Number Three.As Billboard notes, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight is the fifth Apple Music/iTunes exclusive to debut at Number One on the Billboard 200 in 2016, following Drake's Views, Future's Evol, DJ Khaled's Major Key and, most recently, Frank Ocean's Blonde.
