Major Lazer leaps onto Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart (dated Nov. 7) at No. 5 with Music Is the Weapon. The set earned 4,000 equivalent album units in its first week, ending Oct. 29, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
Music is the Diplo-fronted act’s seventh top 10, dating to 2009’s Guns Don’t Kill People… Lazers Do (No. 7). It owns two No. 1s: Free the Universe (2013) and Peace Is the Mission (2015, three weeks on top).
