Foo Fighters Extend Alternative Airplay Top 10 Record With ‘Making a Fire’

Foo Fighters extend their mark for the most top 10s in the 33-year history of Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart, as “Making a Fire” rises 12-10 on the tally dated Sept. 25.
With the ascent of “Fire,” Foo Fighters now boast 27 top 10s, dating to 1995, when their debut single “This Is a Call” hit No. 2. Red Hot Chili Peppers rank second with 25 top 10s, followed by Green Day (24), U2 (23), Pearl Jam and Weezer (19 each).
