Classical and Romantic music on period instruments in Sonoma

Just when you thought every angle for a music festival had been exhausted, cellist Tanya Tomkins and fortepianist Eric Zivian came up with a new one. Valley of the Moon Music Festival, which begins its inaugural season this weekend, is devoted to music of the Classical and Romantic era, played on period instruments in a historically informed style.
