Armando Manzanero Returns to Latin Pop Albums Chart With ’20 Exitos Originales’

For the first time in thirty-two years, Armando Manzanero ranks on Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums chart.
20 Éxitos Originales, a compilation set originally released in 2007, arrives at No. 10 (chart dated Jan. 9), following Manzanero’s death Dec. 28 due to COVID-19 complications. He was 85.
The 20-track set follows Manzanero’s first and only entry on Latin Pop Albums up to date: 20 Grandes Éxitos earned him his first top 10 in 1988 (No. 6 debut and peak).
