Outlander author Diana Gabaldan recently revealed that long before the hit Starz show was on television, she had two other actors in mind to play Jamie.
Diana explained in a resurfaced interview that she was originally approached about adapting the book series into a film, and she had two great actors in mind.
Of course, the books ended up being adapted into a television series and Sam Heughan was perfectly cast in the leading role of Jamie.
Caitriona Balfe also stars in the show as Claire.
