Omar Jimenez has been released following his arrest.
The CNN reporter was arrested and taken into custody, and his producer Bill Kirkos and photojournalist Leonel Mendez were handcuffed, while on the job reporting about the ongoing protests in Minneapolis, Minn. following George Floyd‘s death while held under restraint by policemen.
The journalists were approached mid-broadcast.
