AMC Networks Sets Great American Stories Anthology Series, Will Launch with 'Grapes of Wrath'

AMC Networks is working on a TV series adaptation of the classic novel The Grapes of Wrath as part of its new Great American Stories anthology series.
The purpose of the new anthology series is to focus on a “different celebrated work, historical moment, or individual narrative celebrating and highlighting the American spirit.”
The first season of the series will be an adaptation of the classic John Steinbeck novel with Friday Night Lights‘ Rolin Jones set as the writer.&ldquo
