Trump has heated exchange with CNN, NBC journalists at press conference

Speaking to the press in the East Room of the White House on Wednesday, President Trump congratulated Republicans on a midterm victory despite losing control of the House. Trump cited campaign spending on the part of the Democrats as a major obstacle and his numerous campaign rallies as a deciding factor in many races.
