The true marker of the impending holiday season is not the removal of Halloween decorations or the scent of $6 holiday candles wafting in the air.  It is, in fact, the annual drop of Oprah's iconic Favorite Things list, a compendium of stuff you should buy yourself and your loved ones in pursuit of a better, chicer lifestyle.
