Sony dropping PlayStation 4 price in Japan

The PlayStation 4 is getting a price drop in Japan, Sony announced today. Sony will slash the PS4's price from ¥39,980 down to ¥34,980, a difference of about $41. The price drop goes into effect on Oct. 1 in Japan.
