Rockstar 'Does Not Have Plans' to Reset Progress Following Red Dead Online Beta

Rockstar Games has clarified earlier comments that some Red Dead Online progress from the beta might not carry over to the final game, saying there are not any plans to reset rank or stats progression.
Rockstar said the following in an official comment: "We appreciate all the continued feedback we are receiving on the Red Dead Online Beta. For players concerned about the potential for progress and stat resets, we currently do not have any plans to reset them as part of the Beta’s rollout.
