Quake Champions Goes Free to Play

Quake Champions will be free to play for everyone, with a pay option to get access to all of the characters.
Speaking with Polygon, id Software creative director Tim Willits revealed the business model for Quake Champions, which he previously described as a "really hard problem." He said Ranger is selectable by anyone, while those who purchase the Champions Pack for a fixed price can pick any character in the game.
