Pokemon Go Dev's Ingress to Become a Netflix Anime

Ingress, the first augmented reality game from Pokemon Go developer Niantic, is getting a Netflix anime series.
Niantic founder John Hanke told Variety that Ingress: The Animation will premiere this October and coincide with the launch of the game's sequel, Ingress Prime. Craftar is the animation studio behind the show, with Yuhei Sakuragi directing and Neon Genesis Evangelion's Takeshi Honda handling character design.Ingress: The Animation will release this October on Netflix.
