New Destiny Winter Event Announced

During Sony’s keynote today at PSX 2016, Activision announced a new winter event for Destiny called The Dawning.
Much like last year’s event for Bungie's shared-world shooter, The Dawning marks the return of the Sparrow Racing League, complete with new tracks and Sparrows.
In addition, strike scoring is on the way for Destiny: Rise of Iron, as well as new quests, weapons, gear, gifts and treasures.
