Nearly 5,000 marijuana plants pulled from NorCal home

Nearly 5,000 marijuana plants were pulled from a home in Calaveras County and three people were arrested on charges relating to the illegal growing of marijuana, according to the sheriff's office.Officers served a search warrant Thursday at a home in the 5000 block of Southworth Road in Burson for illegal marijuana cultivation, deputies said.On the 5-acre property, investigators found numerous cargo containers and enclosed structures that were converted for growing marijuana indoors.
