Mexican ruling party to present bill for recreational marijuana use

Mexico's next interior minister plans to submit a bill to legalize recreational and medical marijuana use, according to documents posted on the Congress website on Tuesday, the latest step by the incoming government to shake up the country's fight against drug-related crime.The bill, which is backed by Senator Olga Sanchez, Mexico President-elect Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador's choice for interior minister, could be presented this week, two legislative sources said.
